This past week was National Agriculture Week. My friend Robin has been doing all kinds of activities to teach kids about agriculture so I thought I would do my own little part too. So here are the clothespins that I have been working on this week.
Another way I incorporated the importance of agriculture was to use the theme for Kids Art at Jersey Made. We talked about different items found on the farm and they learned to draw with basic shapes. After practicing they put them on recycled grocery bags that they can fill up at the farm stand or local supermarket!
Thank a farmer every day!
